Party Rituals is CultureHub LA Resident Artist Kristin McWharter's culminating showcase, artist talk, and workshop. Her exploration of speculative celebration rituals uses VR headsets and improvisational performance and examines how physical contact within virtual space and physical form can manipulate social behaviors through party objects and games such as party blowers, noise makers, pin the tail on the donkey, etc.
Party Rituals was developed within the CultureHub Residency Program in Los Angeles.
